I have been with Freedom Pest Control since we have owned our home here in Fort Mill. All my years owning homes I have never experienced a pest control that was more customer focused that Dave, Kelly and their team. They are always asking how is it going and what concerns I have before they arrive to treat my property. All the companies I’ve had in the past just do the treatment and leave and don’t address my needs or concerns. I am so grateful for all of them and their customer focus approach to pest control. Dave has taught me a lot as we have gone through this process and I have come to trust him and I recommend his team to anyone I know. We recently had the pleasure of working with Freedom Pest Services, and our technician, Nate, was absolutely outstanding. I’ve never seen this level of effort from any pest control company before. Nate took his time walking the property, carefully inspecting every area, and never once rushed through the process. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond to educate both my wife and me about what he was doing and what to look out for in the future. His knowledge, professionalism, and patience made the entire experience top-notch. The service itself is excellent, but the customer service is what truly sets them apart. I really hate seeing bugs in our house and Freedom has helped so much over the year with numerous problems in our older home. We’ve dealt with mice, flies in the crawl space, carpenter bees, ants, and yellow jackets getting in through the fireplace...and each time we reach out Dave and his team have responded promptly and helped out immensely! The issues were always taken care of, and Dave did a great job explaining to us the nature of the problem/pest and what we could do to avoid a repeat. We recently had Freedom Pest Services come out and treat our house for termites. We actually weren’t aware that there were active termites, but Corey who came by to inspect our crawl space noticed them and let us know right away. We had two other inspectors look at the house prior to this and neither of them caught it. We ended up getting the termite treatment and the crawl space encapsulated and a dehumidifier installed. Not only did they do a wonderful job explaining the process to us before, during, and after the job, but they were very knowledgeable, thorough, and went the extra mile to ensure they did everything right. Also Corey is a super friendly person and a joy to work with— he even gifted us fresh eggs from his farm just as a nice gesture🥚🥹. We’re grateful to have the termite and crawl space issues behind us and would recommend Freedom Pest Services to others in a heartbeat. ~ S L

Can't believe we never left Freedom a review! This is a fantastic company and the owners are lovely people. We received feedback from a previous pest control provider that we were confused about and frankly did not believe. We engaged Dave and he responded right away. What he discovered was completely different from the previous provider. We felt much more comfortable with Freedom's experience and expertise, their processes, honesty, transparency, communication, etc. and decided to make the switch. I've known of this business for several years and fortunately, we've never needed their service. But last week we started noticing some unpleasant visitors inside and out. After reaching out on their website I was contacted promptly and set up an inspection and treatment for today around our schedule. The owners and office manager are great to work with. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they have a full time person that services Tega Cay. His name is Chaz; I'm pretty sure he's not Sonny and Cher's kid. But he was very friendly and attentive. Kelly (co-owner w/husband Dave) came out and sprayed outside for ants. She is very thorough and extremely personable. She took time to answer our multiple questions - things she probably answers 100 times a day, yet she remains very positive and is willing to educate you without making you feel like you've asked a dumb question. She explained the process in detail. Both she and Dave are very invested in the customer experience and want to make sure that yours is the best it can be. Nobody wants to need a pest service, but Dave and Kelly know how to turn a negative into a positive - by being thoughtful, being real and providing quality work at a fair price. I called about 4 different services and was glad I didn't go with one of the other, more expensive "brand name" services. And the best part was they were able to get me in ahead of schedule. This review is long overdue as I have been a customer of Freedom Pest Services for nearly a year. I chose them on the recommendation of our neighbor and although I normally do not follow recommendations, I would be lying if I didn't say that hiring them has been one of the best decisions I have made. In short, THEY HAVE BEEN EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY WAY. Everyone my wife and I have spoken to at Freedom Pest Services have been extremely friendly, very accommodating with our numerous requests (scheduled and unscheduled), very responsive with our inquiries and always ready to serve. Truly an exceptional company managed by top-notch "down-to-earth" people. As stated above, I normally do not follow recommendations and I rarely recommend if at all however, Freedom Pest Services is, without question, the exception. If I could give Nate more than 5 stars, I would! He was our pest control technician today, and the service was absolutely great. We needed help protecting our home from a whole mix of unwelcome guests—mosquitoes, ants, spiders, wasps, etc. —and Nate tackled all of it. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and how his treatments would create a safe barrier to protect my family. He even came later in the day than planned because my baby was napping and his backpack sprayer would be loud. we had the Freedom team encapsulate and install a humidifier in our crawlspace. The price was very competitive and included proactive termite treatment. The Team very friendly and did a great job with communication on when and exactly where they were with the multi day install. I had several questions during the install and they were very quick to tell me or find the answer, including many photos of the install and photos of an area of concern. It did take a couple follow-up visits to dial-in the dehumidifier to the desires level. Great Job Team Freedom! ~ Michael S

This team is very professional and personable from start to finish. They communicated very well, were right on time, and were very informative when treating the house. Kelly Staib explained in further detail where the bugs/pests may be coming from, how to further prevent them, was very thorough in and outside the house, and educated me on what to watch out for! They are very upfront and transparent about the services and the fees. The techs notify us of when they plan to arrive; let us know they have arrived; and complete the service quickly and efficiently. The tech is available to answer questions or special requests. We recently used them to encapsulate our crawl space and place an efficient dehumidifier. Dave Staib, the owner, explained all the options and the "whys" for why he recommended doing things for our space. The cost was was exceptionally competitive. No surprises at the end. ~ Deanna V

I have been using Freedom Pest services for two years now and they are great. They text the day before they come to perform service so we are aware they will be out there. They deal with my knucklehead dog (you would be suprised how many Amazon drivers calls I get a week because of my dog being out lol) where most won't but we do try to put him up. Their service really does cut down on bugs for sure and their service is a must for us with where we live and the woodlands that surround our property. ~ Kenneth T

I have been using Freedom Pest for the past year. They are AMAZING! They do such a great job and are very responsive. We bought an older home with lots of repairs needed and have had issues. Everytime I call. They send someone out quickly and have given me tons of advice to improve my home. I have used Orkin, and a few smaller companies in the past. With Dave's vast knowledge of the pest control industry from running Orkin; we absolutely is the go to guy for the most professional, prompt, thorough and courteous pest control service available. Everyone is quick to complain if something goes wrong but we almost never thing about those you have taken care of you for years. Today I have to recognize Freedom Pest Services. Very knowledgeable! I had some limited knowledge about various termite treatments and policies, that I'd learned when purchasing my previous home ( 10 years ago) . My questions were answered in detail yet concisely. We were able to get an inspection and estimate that same week, and are ready to schedule our 10 year termite treatment. Dave and Kelly and super sweet and very personable! With any questions I had, Kelly got back to me very quickly and answered all of them. With our first service, Dave explained everything in detail and I like that we get an inspection report with each service. I've been dealing with a really frustrating sugar ant infestation in my kitchen for two weeks that has only gotten worse treating it myself. I called this morning and spoke with Kelly and then Gilbert came to my home this afternoon. He was very polite and extremely thorough - he spent a lot of time here showing me where the ants were entering and treated the interior and exterior. ~ Ashley L
